Description: Grown in the coastal regions of Tanzania and Kenya, this essential oil is known as muhuhu, muhugwe, ol-magogo, or muhugu in the various dialects. The durable hardwood is widely used in making parquet floors and other wood products, and the sawdust from this process is used for production of the essential oil. Common Uses: The Muhuhu oil compliments true Sandalwood oil beautifully and may well be used in a blend with true Sandalwood to extend it. Emotionally its effect is said to be grounding and relaxing.
