The company has been in operation since 1990, and has been providing databases, lists and directories to clients both locally and internationally. The company NamBizDotCombsite includes a free directory service of all the companies listed on the databases. Products The company has two main products, namely: • NamBiz Database – a database of over 20,000 companies that includes more than 7,500 small- and medium-sized enterprises. • CRIB Database – a consumer database of over 2 million persons that includes their full names, postal address and date of birth particulars. The database includes physical addresses, negative information (for example judgements), employer details, etc. The databases were created as: a) a consumer marketing tool; and b) maintaining of a Credit Information Bureau for the tracing of debtors.
