Company Name : Augusta Vins I Olis De Qualitat CBAbout Us : Augusta is a company located in cabassers, in the catalan county of priorat, in northern Spain, near the mediterranean coast. Augusta Vins I Olis De Qualitat CB were stablished in 2003 and we have five branches producing several lines of products. Mas plantadeta is a line of wines encluding aged wines, red and white wines and liquor wine, produced, bottled and labelled under the control of priorat guarantee of origin, one of the spanish most prestigious and efficient guarantee of origin system. Mas de les vinyes is another line of wines produced under the control of montsant guarantee of origin, stablished in 2001 and for this reason not still known in many parts of the world but with an enormous potential dare to the quality of the wines produced in this zone. All our wines are produced with our own grapes, so we can have a direct control upon the whole producion process, from picking and selecting the grapes to bottleing and labelling the wines. We also have three olive oil trademarks, all extra virgin, responding to the increasing demand of the international market of quality olive oil. Mont sacer is a 100% arbequine olives variety made olive oil, with an acidity not superior to 0.3 degrees and produced under the control of siurana guarantee of origin. Mequinenza is a handmade olive oil, produced with a stonemill original of the 1940's, being made with a 60% arbequine olives and a 40% empeltre variety. And oliflix is our extra virgin olive oil made with organic farming olives, and the only biologic spanish olive oil handmade, using also another stonemill. Mequinenza and oliflix respond to the european directive 1019/2002 of 13 june 2002 on first cold press extraction, and our biological products are certified by oko garantie bcs. Our production centers are located where the fruits(grapesor olives) are produced, in a range of 50 kilometers between them. We guarantee maximum quality by an accurated selection process and integrated production system.
