• About Us : PROFILE OF THE COMPANY Dubai Refreshments (P. S. C.) was established as a limited liability company in 1959 by the Decree of His Highness The Ruler of Dubai. In July 1994, the company amended its status to a Public Shareholding company. Dubai Refreshments Company (DRC) was appointed as the sole franchisee and distributor for Pepsi Co products and became the first company to introduce soft drinks in the UAE. In spite of being the distributor for the 2ND largest soft drink company in the world, DRC has been able to maintain the No. 1 status amongst the soft drink suppliers to date in Dubai and Northern Emirates. Added to the DRC product range is the new Pepsi X and Mirinda Green Apple. Drc product range includes Pepsi, Pepsi X, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Twist, Mirinda Orange, Mirinda Green Apple, Mirinda Lemon, Mirinda Strawberry, Mirinda Exotica, Mountain Dew, Teem, Shani, Evervess Soda, Evervess Tonic and Evervess Ginger Ale. The company has a substantial fleet whose distribution capability caters to the thousands of outlets selling Pepsi in Dubai and Northern Emirates. The company also owns a substantial number of vending machines, coolers and Post Mix machines which it provides on a loan basis to its customers located in almost every area of Dubai and Northern Emirates. DRC enjoys a leading market share in spite of vigorous competition. The company has also explored export market in Africa, Gulf Countries and Central Asia. Over and above this DRC also has exclusive contracts with some of the largest catering companies in the United Arab Emirates Dubai Refreshments has won quality awards from Pepsi Cola International on various occasions. Drc has won the best quality award amongst more than 700 bottlers from around the world, twice. Dubai Refreshments loyalty to the Government of Dubai remains very strong. It has sponsored various events under the flagship of Pepsi such as, Dubai Shopping Festival for the last 5 years. Drc has also sponsored various other local sporting and cultural events from grassroots activities to high profile international events.
