The ELEONES EVOO has a very distinct strong fruity taste because it is made solely from the "Hondroelia" olive variety of Halkidiki, found only in Northern Greece which is the most large-fruited variety of the Greek olive varieties. The olives are handpicked in late November from selected olive groves in Halkidiki and are pressed within a few hours. There is no other organic olive oil in the international market made exclusively from the Hondroelia olive variety. So this makes the ELEONES products truly unique.
