On the 1st January 1991, Haggie acquired the South African Rivet Manufacturing Company and its subsidiary companies. Fascor and S.A. Rivet Connect Co (Pty) Ltd And Fascor (Pty) Ltdre merged to form South Africa's largest rivet manufacturer, supplying their products into a wide range of industries both locally and overseas. In April 2002 Fascor was acquired by a partnership between Corpcapital and Iraklion Trust. Fascor operates in a highly specialised sector of the Fastener Industry.
