The gold plating is a bath of 24 Karat Gold, and then finally protected with a layer of cataphoretic lacquer, which is applied electrolitically and then cured at 140 centigrade. No lacquers applied by immersion which give no guarantee or protection against the change of color of the goldplated layer. All semiprecious stones are natural.
