The working principle of the crusher is that the movable jaw is set on the eccentric shaft or the suspension shaft. When it is working, the transmission mechanism drives the eccentric shaft to rotate so that the movable jaw performs periodic reciprocating motion relative to the fixed jaw. When the movable jaw gets close to the fixed jaw, the material between the two jaws is squeezed to be broken; when movable jaw leaves, the material smaller than the size of the discharge opening of the crusher is unloaded by its own weight, and the materials fed into the feeding opening also fall into the crushing chamber, the process will continue repeatedly. The crusher has simple structure, reliable operation, wide application, convenient operation and maintenance, low equipment cost and large crushing capacity, which is suitable for coarse and medium crushing of block hard materials such as limestone and sandstone. However, large inertial force may generate in the operation, so the parts will stand great load and the energy consumption is relatively high. In particular, the simple swing crusher has low crushing ratio (4-6), and the broken particle size is not uniform enough, it is not suitable for the crushing of viscous material and dry sheet material. The specification of the crusher is represented by B (width)* L(length) of the feed port. For example, PEJ 900mm x 1200mm indicates a simple swing jaw crusher with a feed port of 900mm width and 1200mm length.
