Company Name : Sulkas Quilt ShopAbout Us : The purpose of this is to briefly introduce myself as the owner of Sulka's Collection (Formally known as Sulkas Quilt Shop). I started Sulka's Quilt Shop in 2003 by buying Log America who at that time was at the brink of bankruptcy. You may wonder what kind of a name is "Sulkas Collection" but I wanted a name that would impact how I would run my business. My mother used to call me "Sulka" when I was a child and I used this name as a constant reminder of what motivates me the most. I treat my company's reputation as I would a family member, with devotion. In 2003, I bought a whole bunch of handmade, cotton quilts from Log America at a very reasonable price and I sold those quilts at a minimum profit because I wanted to save my customer's money and I knew customers would be loyal to distributors that save them money. Soon my customers Sulkas Quilt Shopre loyal to me and I had repeated business and referrals. I started importing more quilts and other handmade products made from 100% cotton out of India, Pakistan and China. I started paying more attention to quality of these products. My mission statement became selling quality, affordable products. Hence, I started thinking about buying products in bulk and then making my own line of products called Sulka's Collection. Sulkas Collection now not only contain handmade quilts but we also manufacture all kinds of blankets such as polar fleece blanket, Raschel blanket etc. We have recently added Pashmina and Cashmere shawl and scarf to Sulkas line of collection.
