The long tradition of the company the results of such researches have been handed down and further developed over the generation, so that Tatsumura Textile Co., Ltd. is now producing and merchandising artistic fabrics duly recognized in the world. <br/> <br/>1894 Heizo 1st Tatsumura founded a weaving company aiming to express the art in the woven fabrics. <br/>1919 Held the "First Weaving Art Exhibition" at Nihonbashi Club in Tokyo. <br/>1923 Commissioned to weave cover-cloths for the journal of the overseas trip of His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince (later Emperor Showa). <br/>1924 By the request of the Imperial Museum, restored the treasured fabrics of the Shosoin Repository. <br/>1927 Exhibited the tapesutry "Kan-ra-kabekaka, Rakuro" at the Imperial Art Academy Exhibition. <br/>1928 Commissioned to make brocade album in commemoration of the wedding of His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince (later Emperor Showa). <br/>1934 Commissined to weave the tapestry "Ten-chi Gekiryo Zu"to celebrate the wedding of His Imperial Highness Prince Chichibu. <br/>etc...
